ENABLING PUBLIC HEALTH SUPPLY CHAIN TRANSFORMATION IN COTE D’IVOIRE SINCE 2018
ARC’S WORK AND OUTCOMES IN COTE D’IVOIRE
In Côte d’Ivoire, ARC focuses primarily on strengthening supply chain governance, improving the availability of essential medicines, and enhancing maternal and child health services. The overall strategy aimed to improve Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and support national health policies. The objectives of the interventions include:
Providing technical assistance to the Directorate of Pharmaceutical Activity (DAP), reinforcing its ability to manage supply chain-related subjects.
Supporting the frequent revision and regular assessment of the national SC strategic plan by providing expertise and strategic advice.
Assisting with the definition of demand and supply planning processes and cycles, which will complement current supply coordination routines.
Support system interoperability by monitoring the full implementation of the “VAN model” (consolidated database) to improve data quality for better visibility.
